ANALYSIS OF TEACHING:

BACKGROUND

From September through December, I student taught at Samuel Powel Elementary School.  It's a small, K-4 public school in Powelton Village, Philadelphia.  My class had 26 children and one pet turtle named Todd.

The goal of the term III assignment, Analysis of Teaching, was to design lessons in three subject areas, to teach the lessons in small group format, and to analyze and reflect on the lessons.  The assignment also asked us to develop and reflect on an overarching question about pedagogy.
